Yes! All our core features are available for free. I want anyone to be able to use ScreenX, so I'm keeping them free. Pro plans are solely for those that require more exports.

Do I need to install any software?

No installation required. ScreenX runs entirely in your web browser. Just visit the website, choose what to record, and start creating immediately.

Is my screen data private?

Absolutely. All recording processing happens locally on your device. Your video data never leaves your browser.

Why can't I see my projects when logging in from another device?

Accepted Answer

This is intentional. Your projects are stored within your browser for privacy reasons. Optional cloud facilities might be considered in the future.

We support exporting in high-quality MP4 format. You can also generate GIFs for shorter clips directly from the editor.
